Our Kinesiology Taping Continuous Professional Development (CPD) course is suitable for those who would like to use Kinesiology Taping professionally within, Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy / Sports Therapy / Rehabilitation / Physiotherapy and Injury Treatment.
Accredited by the Federation of Holistic (FHT) Therapists and the Sports Therapy Organisation (STO).

**A short assessment is required on our Live Online course to check learning and application of techniques. This will be discussed during the course. Cameras will be open during the course and you will be able to ask questions during course delivery. You will receive a copy of the course recording for recap and revision purposes, along with a copy of the course powerpoint. You will also receive a printable pdf certificate, which can be used for insurance purposes.
**Due to COVID measures being in place on all face to face courses, ALL course members are required to wear PPE during course delivery (on face to face courses).

About the course
Course Design
This course is designed in relation to industry standards and is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and provides 8 Continual Professional Development hours (CPD).
This training course will provide a mixture of practical application and theory work.
Our Face to Face and Live Online courses are accredited by the FHT and the STO and insurable for use within clinical and sports environments.
Overview of Course
- Review of current theory and research relating to Kinesiology Taping
- Review different types of tape and methods for Taping
- Influencing movement patterns and proprioception
- Taping for injuries to the lower limb
- Taping for injuries to the upper limb
- Taping for back injuries, neck and postural conditions
- Contraindications and limitations
Entry Requirements & background
Course applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old and must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy. Applicants should have also been practising Sports Massage Therapy for a period of time prior to enrolling on this course.
Practical application will expands on a review of theory relating to the use of Kinesiology Taping. A variety of conditions and injuries will be reviewed and practised with tutor input.
Course Tutor
This course is taught using a hands-on approach, therefore you will be practising Taping techniques throughout the teaching days, whilst receiving ongoing input from the tutor.
Taught by Georgina King BSc, SST(Sports Therapy). Georgina graduated with a first class Honours degree from the University of Worcester and works with Start Medical in Royal Wootton Bassett. Georgina has worked with many sports teams and events from local Rugby to World Frisbee and National Taekwondo. Along with her clinical and team based work, Georgina teaches a variety of First Aid courses, along with teaching and assisting on Core Elements Sports Taping and Strapping, Electrotherapy and Rehabilitation courses.
