Our short course in Myofascial Dry Cupping for Functional Movement is designed for those who are already qualified in Dry Cupping, and who would like to extend their skills to include Functional Movement Techniques for use within massage therapy, injury treatment and rehabilitation.
This course focuses on the use of Myofasical Dry Cupping Therapy (a.k.a. Myofascial Decompression) from a western perspective and application the musculoskeletal system, for the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
This course is open to Sports and Massage Therapists at Level 3 or above, Sport and Exercise Scientists, Sports Therapists, Sports Rehabilitators, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists as continued professional development.
Prior to enrolling onto this course, you should have completed previous training in Myofascial Dry Cupping (see our Dry Cupping course).
This Online course is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Sports Therapy Organisation and is insurable by the FHT, the STO, Balens and BGI UK for clinical use.

About the course
Course Design
This course focuses on the application and theory behind the use of Myofascial Dry Cupping Therapy from a Western perspective and the integration of functional movement.
This is a highly practical course, and we request that you practise all techniques as you move through each demonstration.
Our course is designed in relation to industry standards and is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the Sports Therapy Organisation, and provides 8 Continuous Professional Development hours (CPD).

Entry Requirements & background
Course applicants must be 17 years old or over and must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy or Massage Therapy. This course is also open to Sports Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Sports Rehabilitation professionals.
This course focuses on the application and theory behind the use of Myofascial Dry Cupping Therapy for Functional Movement from a Western perspective.
On completion of the course students will be able to demonstrate effective use and application of Dry Cupping Therapy in the management of Sports Massage Therapy and injury treatment in a safe and effective manner and will have a clear understanding of contraindications for treatment.

Taught by Dawn Morse BSc, PGCE, MSc & Emma Stuart BSc
Dawn teaches the Face to Face Dry Cupping course and sometimes the Live online course.
Dawn has a Masters Degree in Sports and Health Sciences, is a qualified teacher and is a Sports Massage Therapist.
Dawn was the programme leader for the University of Bath Sports Therapy Foundation Degree and lectured on the BSc programme for 9 years and is currently an associate lecturer for the Open University.
Dawn is the founder of Core Elements which provides regular training courses in Sports Massage and Sports Therapy modalities.
